What data does the app process?

Noti processes only the system notifications of your device. This data includes:

notification content – title, body text, source app name, and time received,
automatic rules defined by the user – app names, keywords, and selected actions.

The app does not process any other personal data – it does not require an account, login, or any identifying information from the user.

Where is your data stored?

All notifications and rules you define are stored exclusively on your device in an encrypted database. None of this data is sent to external servers or shared with third parties.

The only exception is rules that you consciously and voluntarily choose to share publicly using the rule-sharing feature. In that case, the content of the rule – without any personal data, device identifiers, or account information – is transmitted to the Noti app server, from where it can be downloaded by other users. Rule sharing is entirely voluntary and always initiated by the user.

Legal basis for processing

Data processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing is necessary for the performance of a service (notification management) requested by the user by installing the app.

For the voluntary sharing of rules, the legal basis is the user's consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at the e-mail address provided in Section 1.

Premium purchases are handled through the Google Play payment system. Transaction data is processed exclusively by Google LLC in accordance with its own privacy policy. The Noti app has no access to the user's payment data.

App permissions

For proper operation, Noti requires the following system permissions:

Notification Access (Notification Listener) – allows the app to intercept and store notifications from other apps. This is a core permission without which the app cannot function.
Biometrics / Screen lock – optional, used to protect access to the app with a biometric lock.

None of these permissions are used for any purpose other than described above.

Data security

Your notifications are stored in an encrypted database directly on your device. You can additionally secure access to the app with a biometric lock – fingerprint or face recognition. Data never leaves your device without your explicit consent.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding the processing of your data:

Right of access – you can review your notification history at any time directly within the app.
Right to erasure – you can delete any notification or your entire notification history from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
Right to withdraw consent – for shared rules, you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at the e-mail address in Section 1.
Right to rectification – if any data held by us is inaccurate, you have the right to request correction.
Right to restriction of processing – you may request that we restrict processing of your personal data under circumstances set out in Article 18 GDPR.
Right to lodge a complaint – you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or establishment. A full list of EU supervisory authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu. Users located in Poland may contact the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at the address provided in Section 1. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Noti is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from this age group. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. We will notify you of any significant changes through an app update or an in-app notification. The current version of the policy is always available in the app settings.
